The black version of the genuine Leitz body cap. The Leitz code number was IVZOO, later changed to 14056.
A sharp-looking blackened brass cap, perfect for black paint bodies.
This example is the type in which everything, including the lugs, is made of brass and given a blackened finish. It has faded slightly over time, developing a wonderfully subdued coppery tone. Early Angenieux 50mm f1.8 S1 lenses can also show a similar color.
There are many variations of these blackened caps, but this is one of the more standard types. Even so, it is still quite a rare cap.

Mounting on a camera body has been confirmed.
