※About rarity

Leica IIIf Red Dial. Manufactured in 1952/1953. Leitz product code: LOOHN. No self-timer. The clean exterior and comfortable grip leave a good impression. With features like slow shutter speeds, a rangefinder with diopter adjustment, and a stable mechanism, the Leica IIIf is easy to use and highly reliable. Given the rising cost of film these days, the Barnack Leica is a great choice for those who want to enjoy each shot carefully and thoughtfully.

There are some scuffs and scratches on the back of the top cover and very minor scuffs on the bottom plate, but overall, the body shows minimal signs of use and is quite clean.

Although maintenance was performed before the previous sale, we conducted a full overhaul in August 2024 in preparation for this resale. The operation of all parts is very smooth. The viewfinder is clear, and the contrast of the rangefinder's double image is very sharp. This well-maintained and smoothly functioning body is ready for practical use!
