Made by Reid & Sigrist, England. Reid III is a Leica IIIb copy camera. With sync. Called Reid IIIa or Type II. Appoximately 1200 pcs produced from 1953 to 1964. High quality Leica copy. Lens is Anastigmat 2 inch f2 manufactured by Taylor Hobson. LTM and rangefinder coupling. Soft picture at full open. Comes with genuine cap and display box. Good for collection. Faint signs of use on bottom plate. Very clean condition. Chrome plated top cover looks as if it has come from factory right now. Camera and lens serviced in 2022. Excellent working condition. Clear view finder. Faint haze on inner element of lens yet very clean. Rangefinder couplding is accurate.
