HFOOK. Shoe-mount rangefinder. A model that combines Leitz’s standalone rangefinder FOKOS with the movable shoe FOKAB. Black and nickel finish, with nickel foot. The distance dial is conveniently marked in meters. Base length 75mm. Minimum focusing distance is 0.75 meters.

It is mounted on the accessory shoe for use. When setting the shutter speed, the rangefinder body can be rotated, allowing access to the shutter speed dial. A truly Leitz-like piece of ingenuity, highly practical in use. By removing the shoe section, it can also be mounted vertically.

Paired with a Leica A or Standard, it is a delightful little Leitz accessory that is enjoyable even simply to admire.

There are slight signs of rubbing on the areas where fingers naturally touch, but there is almost no paint loss, making this a very clean finder overall. The piano black finish remains beautifully intact, and the silver inlay is also in excellent condition.

Serviced in January 2026. The dial operates with such smoothness that you may find yourself turning it just for the pleasure of it. The view through the finder is superb—bright and clear—with a crisp double image and accurate alignment.

Please note that early Leica accessory shoes can sometimes be slightly too wide or too narrow. If it feels too wide, we recommend folding a small piece of paper and inserting it for a snug fit.
