Carl Zeiss Jena universal finder, model 436/70. It is thought to be a product from the Contax II era. Parallax compensation is marked in meters. The turret design accommodates 28, 35, 50, 85, and 135 mm lenses.
Because the finder body protrudes to the right when viewed from the eyepiece side, attaching it to a Leica causes the finder to overlap the shutter speed dial, making the shutter speeds unreadable. Please take note.
Some paint loss from regular use can be seen, but the overall appearance is quite clean. The glass was professionally cleaned in November 2025, and the viewing clarity is excellent. The focal length selector dial also operates smoothly.
