A universal finder made by Carl Zeiss Jena, model 436/4. It is thought to be a product from the Contax II era. Parallax compensation is marked in feet. The turret design supports 28, 50, 85, 135, and 180mm lenses, and it is compatible with the Olympia Sonnar 180mm. A rather scarce item.
Because the body of the finder protrudes to the right when viewed from the eyepiece side, attaching it to a Leica will cause it to overlap the shutter speed dial, making the shutter speeds unreadable. Please be aware of this.
Light scuffs and paint loss from regular use are visible.
The glass was cleaned by a specialist in October 2025, and the viewing clarity is excellent. The focal length selector dial also operates smoothly.
A great choice for practical use.
