Leitz 12585 lens hood.
A genuine hood supplied during the era of the Summicron 50mm and second-generation Summicron 35mm, positioned as the successor to the ITDOO and IROOA hoods. It can be mounted on many E39 lenses, including the Summicron 35mm f2 and 50mm f2, and is also compatible with the Summaron and Elmar.
This example is an early version of the 12585 without the 35/2 engraving.

There is some paint loss and a few small marks along the rim of the hood.
It is in just the right condition for hard, everyday use without hesitation.
Mounting has been confirmed on E39 lenses.
