Leitz 12585 lens hood. A genuine hood supplied during the era of the Summicron 50mm and the second-generation Summicron 35mm, succeeding the earlier ITDOO and IROOA hoods.
It fits many E39 thread lenses including the Summicron 35mm f2 and 50mm f2, and is also compatible with lenses such as the Summaron and Elmar.
This example is the early type without the 35/2 engraving.

A very tiny scratch can be seen above the WETZLAR engraving, but otherwise this hood shows almost no signs of use and remains in very clean condition. Fit to a lens has been confirmed.
