Leitz lens hood for the Summicron 50mm and 35mm from the second generation. Features a double hook that allows for attachment in reverse. The product code is 12585. This hood is the successor to the IROOA hood. A standard hood that can be fitted to most lenses with an E39 diameter, such as the Summicron 35mm f2 and 50mm f2, and also compatible with Summaron and Elmar lenses. It's handy for Leica users to have one. A hood cap is included.
There is some black chrome wear typical of normal use, and very minor dents at the tip. The condition is suitable for practical use. Besides reducing lens flare, the hood also serves to protect the valuable lens body, much like a car bumper.
