※About rarity
Icarex 35S TM. M42 mount. The 1st new product lauched by Zeiss Ikon / Voightlander, which founded in 1966 by Carl Zeiss Foundation acquired the whole shares in 1956. Double names engraved but it has been said that the both of camera and lens were produced at Voghtlander factory. TM stands for thread mount, thus it is M42. This model debuted in 1970 with fixed prism and TTL exposure metering. But Japanese manufacturers had come to dominate market. In 1971, Zeiss Ikon announced withdrawal from camera business. One of the last camera in the long history of Voightlander and Zeiss. All functions works smoothly. Exposure metering properly. Exposure meter works by pushing aperture closing lever at the side of lens mount when wind lever is upright. Clean body with faint signs of use. No major marks or dents. Faint dusts inside of lens yet no haze or no cleaning marks. Very good conditioned Ultron lens. Comes with geunine UV filter, cap, heavy-duty leather case same as the camera itself.
