Rare Summar provided for Tropical area. Called Tropical Summar. Made in 1938 and 1942. Standard Summar is in 6 elements in 4 groups, yet this is in 7 elements. The barrel is a bit longer than standard Summar. The product cord is TROPEN., 42214. Rare item.

Serviced in Apr 2021. Good working condition. Coupling with rangefinder. Used condition yet still clean one as Tropen Summar. Clear glass without haze. A few faint cleaning marks on front element. Excellent pictures available.
