※About rarity

Super-Angulon-R 21mm f/4. Leitz product code 11813. Introduced in 1964 alongside the Leicaflex, this is a wide-angle lens for the Leica R mount. Manufactured in 1977 with serial number 2,820,000. Minimum focusing distance is 0.2m.

It features a retrofocus design with minimal rear protrusion, eliminating the need for mirror lock-up. It can be used with SLR viewfinders and TTL metering systems.

Includes hood 12506 and a Series 8.5 UVa filter.

There are signs of black paint chipping on the aperture and helicoid ring, but no dents or dings are present.
Cleaned in June 2024, the lens glass is clear without any scratches or haze. The focusing helicoid and aperture operation feel smooth, and focusing and image rendering are excellent.
It's in just the right condition to use without any concerns.
