M42

Hugo Meyer New York ordeed it to home country of Germany. Originally, it had 3 types of focal length with convention of front and rear parts. After modification to M42 mount, it is only for 3 1/2 inch(90mm) f4.5 and works from 30cm close-up to infinitive.

Modified to M42 from VP Exakta mount. Made in 1933. Slight coating damage in the front element, however it is still very clean as its age. Excellent round aperture. Our test shot shows sharp and natural color images.

T coating Sonnar made in 1945 modified to M42 mount. 6 elements in 3 groups. Aluminum barrel. Very slight cleaning mark on coating on inner element, however it does not effect to image quality.

Non-coated. Aluminum barrel. Spiral bokeh at opening position, however makes good image with nice atmosphere when set the aperture at right position. It is a tricky and fun to use. Slight cleaning marks on the front element, yet still clean as Pan-Tachar.

This lens was famous of being designed by Ludwig Bertele for Ermanox. Modified to M42 mount. Perfect working order, making fantastic bokeh. The appearance itself is also nice. Fully serviced on May 2014.

@RARE@ Made by Rietzschel, Germany. 4 elements in 4 groups. Made around 1925. Manufactured small number for Night Mentor 6x9. Modified to M42 mount. The lens covers 5x7 size. Makes unique image, cannot see with present age lenses. Fully serviced.

@RARE@ Made by Carl Zeiss Jena in mid-1960’s. Possible to shoot on distance of 55cm to infinity, yet depending on light angle, some spots glitter on image. Fully serviced.

Made in 1934. For Night Exakta. Rare Black/Nickel. Modified to M42 mount. Glass and 24 aperture blades are all cleaned up. Makes nice image with bokeh. Please check our example images!

@RARE@ Made by Meyer Gorlitz around 1939. 5 elements in 4 groups. Successor model of Elnostar. Meter scale. Non-coated. Modefied to M42 mount from Exakta 66. Rare 100mm of Primoplan. Slight scuffs on the front element. Fully serviced in June 2016.

Usable for 3 types of focal length. 153mm f4.5 with both front and rear parts, 320mm f11 with front part and 220mm f8 with rear part. Slight cleaning marks, scuffs and time-related deterioration on the front element, yet still clean for this lens.

Unidentified Brass lens. Made around 1900. Not any name stamp on it. Petzval type. Focal length is about 50mm. No aperture blades and the f-value is about 2.8. The mount is converted to M42. Set slightly over infinity. Some dust inside, yet still clear glass. Please check our test shots!

Made by Rau-Optik Wetzlar. Said it is designed by Astro Berin. Meter scale. 3 elememts in 3 groups. It should be provided for rare SLR camera FECA, but this lens is in M42 mount. No modification marks and should be originally made for M42. Clean glass and makes nice image! Please check our test shots.
