1931年発売の大口径標準レンズ、「ヘクトール 50mm f2.5」。最初期のライカレンズ「Anastigmat(のちのElmax)」、「Elmar」を設計したマックス・ベレクによる銘玉です。 多くのコアなライカファンを虜にしてきたこのヘクトールですが、ユーザーの誰もが抱える悩みがフィルター探し。発売当時はエルマー用と同じA36の被せフィルターが標準でしたが、絞りを操作するたびにフィルターを脱着する必要があり、不便さがありました。また、ヘクトールは製造本数が少なく、適合フィルターが無いため、良好なガラスコンディションを保つ事が難しいレンズでもありました。 これらの悩みを一挙に解決する、専用フィルターを製作しました。 本製品のアイデアは、ブラックペイントライカファンにはお馴染みの、当店を長年ご愛顧いただいているHektor50氏の発想によるもの。「限りあるヘクトールレンズを、少しでも良い状態で」という氏の思いから生まれました。本製品は、好評販売中のポケット付きカメラポーチに続くコラボレーションアイテム。 かつて国内で製造され、10年前にはすでに入手困難となっていた、氏所有のフィルターを参考に、デザイン・設計はレリーズでお馴染みの「なにがし」に依頼しました。 フィルター枠は、「なにがしレリーズ」や「絞り操作機能付エルマー&ヘクトールフード」と同様、高品質な真鍮削り出しを採用。ヘクトール 50mm f2.5に調和するよう、フィルター側面には縦溝のローレット加工を施し、デザインと操作性の双方に配慮しました。試作段階では、ピッチ幅違いのサンプルを複数製作。最もしっくりくるピッチのローレットを選び抜いています。仕上げには黒染めを施し、ニッケル、クローム鏡胴いずれにも馴染む佇まいです。...
