SOOIA. Early type. Manufactured in 1949, the first year of Summarit 50mm f1.5. Improved lens of Xenon 50mm f1.5, the first large diameter lens which had been manufactured since 1936. The structure was the same elements in 5 groups, yet the performance has improved with taking new glass.
E41 filter size and bayonet type is also useable. Matching hood is Leitz XOONS.
Very slight scuffs from lens hood are seen on the edge, yet other parts are beautiful without visible marks or dent.
Fully serviced in July 2022. Very smooth movement on its helicoid and aperture rings.
A few very slight cleaning marks on the rear element. Faint haze remains around inner element, yet it does not affect to image quality. Front element is clean. Comes with genuine front cap.
